Writing Contest on Korean Culture

The Writing Contest on Korean Culture is designed to encourage students to discover the joy of reading and writing Korean stories to improve their Korean language and enhance their intercultural competencies as a global citizen. In 2016 more than 80 students from 23 schools across Australia participated in the Writing Contest on Korean Culture. 16 winners were selected on the contest day.

TIME & DATE: 10:00 – 16:00, 6 OCT 2017 (FRI)

VENUE:  Korean Cultural Centre Australia

WHO CAN APPLY?  Open to all students (K-12)

CONTENTS: Free style writing contest related to Korean culture

  • Theme : Specific theme will be announced on the contest day
  • Genre : All genres are acceptable except for poems

HOW TO APPLY?

  • Applications should be coordinated and submitted by the teachers
  • Personal application should be approved by the teachers and contact the KCC
  • Each school should submit all application forms by 10th of September
