Flourishing Mateship

Tuesday, November 29, 2011 - 21:33

Another chapter in our ever deepening friendship

Fifty years of friendship has passed between Australia and Korea; friendship which flourished from an alliance in a time of war and turmoil.

Early this year we marked the anniversary with performances from several of our finest artists. Now nearing the end of 2011, we would like to conclude this commemorative year with an event to remember it by.

Take a seat in this awe-inspiring performance! Witness the instruments from both cultures coming together to create a harmonious fusion. Join us for thrills and delights as performers of the G20 summit meeting, Poolim ensemble, celebrate our unity and our ever deepening relationship.

Theme for the event: Experience the harmonious crossover of East and West as music from our two lands come together. A true spectacle representing what is at the heart of humanity, ‘mateship.’
